ENLIGHTEN,  INSTALLATION PAINTING WITH NEON SIGN, ACRYLIC COLOR, CHINESE INK, GLUE, FABRIANO PAPER,
WOOD, NEON LIGHT & PHOTOGRAPH

The idea of this art installation is to transform our learning process of Bangla Barnamala (Alphabet) to create the reflection of our enlightened selves. Our journey to learn, begins with Bangla Barnamala which reflects and enlightens our true expressions. And usually our journey in childhood, begins with slates.

Slate is a basic tool of learning process. To transfer this whole idea of learning process, I used three different surfaces. Each surface I repeated the same letter for several times and put the concerned letter in the center position using Neon light which is a bright object itself, to enhance the spirit of our enlightened alphabet.

Anusshar, Bishorga, Chandrabindu- are the last three letters of Bangla Barnamala. They cannot make any meaningful word on their own. But they always play a supporting role to create a word as spiritual beings. This is how the whole idea of this installation is a reflection of our enlightened selves.
